- I live with my husband Patrick Garratt in Marina da Gama, and also work from home. I've been involved in environmental education for many years and am currently a full-time PhD student at UCT. My research interest is the role of nature in the lives of urban teenagers in Cape Town. I feel very privileged to live in a City that is so rich in natural beauty and diversity. I visited Totnes in May 2008 and am delighted that the Transition Town movement has spread to Cape Town!
