Area of expertise (what can you offer your community): Opportunity to join PASSION - a knitting circle, which presents blankets, scarves and berets to people who initiate a new and necessary way of serving their community with love and passion for what they do. At a ceremony we draw attention to their work. We also thoroughly enjoy meeting, knitting, chatting, listening and exchanging views and opinions and, in turn, encourage initiatives that stem from our circle.

Tell us a bit more about yourself: I am an ex-secretary and trained in the days when people did Pitmans shorthand and typed on manual typewriters.
I enjoy painting with watercolours in a Rudoph Steiner way
and this I do with others at Waldorf School every few months.
I also have discovered Agape, a trans-denominational spiritual community under Rev. Gabriel Gonsalves. which meets at Novalis where the message is of new thought - ancient wisdom. I initiated PASSION - a knitting circle and we meet at Meadowridge Library and Novalis once a month.
Also, Kreative Kaleidoscope with a friend where we present something different to members of u3a every month.
Perhaps, now is the time for another initiative, STRAIGHT AND TRUE - Green Friends of Man to grow.
Two of my sons live in Sydney, Australia and one lives in England.
